Geography of Québec and Canada - Secondary III

The Geography of Québec and Canada program focuses on the study of space, resources and economic activity. It is intended to help Secondary III students to understand their physical and human environments. The Geography of Québec and Canada program is based on six guiding principles : the program provides students with an overview of organized space; the program integrates the elements of physical and human geography by stressing their interdependence; the program helps students to acquire useful skills ; the program focuses on the human and natural resources of Québec and Canada; the program promotes respect for the environment; the program takes the students’ environment as a starting point, and from there gradually broadens the students’ horizons to include national and international perspectives.
